I Felt Safe Because You Were There

As my body grew weak and my eyes got heavy, I still felt your hands gently holding mine.
I know that day wasn’t easy for you. But you stayed by my side.
You didn’t let me be afraid.
I felt calm… because you were there.

I Know You Wanted the Best for Me—Even in the End

You didn’t choose what was easiest.
You chose what was filled with love.

Now, I’m no longer a tired body. I’ve become:

• A soft white ash that you lovingly keep,
  
• A photo on your living room shelf,
  
• A name engraved on a memorial box,
  
• A whispered prayer each time you miss me.
  

You’ve made me a part of home again, even though I no longer run to greet you at the door.

Don’t Cry for Too Long—I Am at Peace

I want you to smile when you think of me running in circles.
I want you to hug my old toy without guilt.
And I want you to know:
You did everything just right.

Until We Meet Again, I’ll Be Waiting Peacefully

Here, there’s no more pain.
I can sleep without fear.
